Float and Sink Activity

This float and sink experiment is simple physics experiment that encouraged students to make predictions and observations about buoyancy and density. Through their observations, they’ll learn that buoyant objects float and dense objects sink.

Here teachers add the objects one by one in water and discuss the concept of what will float and what will sink.

Density is determined by how close or far apart molecules are within an item. Molecules are tiny and only visible by a microscope.
