Baisakhi Celebration

On 13th April 2023, the students of Aryan Public School celebrated the festival of Baisakhi in high spirits. Well-planned activities to acquaint the students with this harvest festival were carried out in the classrooms at all the class levels. The objective of this activity was to acquaint students about Baisakhi and its significance in our culture and to engage them in the celebration of a harvest festival.

The students celebrated the festival with zeal and various activities like dance, drawing and singing were conducted.

Students learnt about the importance of agricultural festivities in India and how agricultural activities mark the onset of a new year and a new beginning.

Here are some of the glimpse of the celebration of Baisakhi at Aryan Public School.

On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, Aryan Public School students made beautiful drawings depicting the celebration of the festival, followed by a classroom discussion on the significance of Baisakhi. Students learnt about the importance of agricultural festivities in India and how agricultural activities mark the onset of a new year and a new beginning.

They learnt about Rabi crops, which farmers harvest during this time and also discussed the delicacies prepared every year on this day including their special ingredients. The students recalled the contribution of the 10th Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh, whose birthday falls on the occasion, and the students narrated important events on history and culture. Baisakhi festival was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Aryan Public School

Aryan Public School emerged on 21st February 2000. The foundation stone was laid by Shri B.M Goel (chairperson). It is a co-educational institution run by Sanjeevani Siksha Samiti a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Act-1861.
